Grant and Meg first met with us in 2019 when they first thought about building their own home and have since been looking for the right block in the right location for them.

Once they secured their block, they worked with our partners @n1_creative to design their dream home.

Like everyone, Grant and Meg had a budget to work to and were quite clever in their use of affordable inclusion options with a touch of their own touches to make it uniquely their own.

Back in 2019, when Grant and I first visited your Googong display home, we knew right away that if we ever had the opportunity to build, DJ Homes would be our first choice. Fast forward to August 2023, and we were finally in the position to make that dream a reality. From the moment we reached out, the process has been seamless, professional, and truly enjoyable.
Grant, your guidance from the beginning—introducing us to Pavel from N1 Creative and helping us balance our vision with practicality and budget—set the foundation for what has been an exceptional journey. The level of consideration and honesty you provided gave us confidence that we were in the right hands.

A huge thank you to Alan for making the selections process so smooth and stress-free. His recommendations were incredibly helpful, ensuring we made choices that were both stylish and practical, while sticking to our budget. We also really appreciated how efficient he was with the paperwork, keeping everything on track and making the whole process feel effortless.
Our journey from finalising plans to council approval and then to construction was impressively efficient. The council DA process took 92 business days, and incredibly, our build took just 91 business days (excluding weekends, public holidays, and the Christmas/New Year closure).
Despite the speed of our build, the quality has never been compromised. Every detail—from the gable vent to the hidden pantry—has exceeded our expectations. The carpentry, joinery, electrical works and overall finishes are outstanding. We loved seeing the progress each time we drove past. We also really appreciated the Buildertrend app, which kept us informed every step of the way, and any issues that arose (which were very rare and very minimal) were handled promptly and efficiently.

A special shout-out to Billy and James, who were absolute stars throughout the build. James, your professionalism, knowledge, and project management skills are remarkable—it's hard to believe you’re only 25! DJ Homes is lucky to have such a dedicated and talented asset on their team. Both James and Billy have such a down-to-earth attitude and great banter which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Now that we officially have the keys to our home, we couldn’t be happier. Every bit of our hard work has paid off, and we are beyond thrilled with the outcome that DJ Homes were able to achieve for us. Without hesitation, we would recommend DJ Homes to anyone looking to build.
