Consultant
Sales role in the residential construction industry with a difference.
DJ Homes is the leading custom design new home builder in Canberra and the surrounding region. A locally owned and operated business, DJ Homes is looking for a sales consultant to join our team.
The role not only includes the initial sales role but involves many parts of the pre-construction process which will see the successful applicant gain experience across a range of areas within our residential building business.
Tasks include;
*Sales – this would involve hosting our Googong display home (including 11-4 on weekends) and working to actively create and follow up leads
Marketing – manage all aspects of our marketing including website updating, social media content, in-office content and organise hard copy marketing material
*Design – work with clients who complete their custom design with us or choose a home from our select range by organising and meeting with our design partners
*Selections – assist in the completion of our Selections Schedule document with our clients which involves sourcing different materials and options from our contractors and suppliers
*Pricing – seek quotes from our suppliers and contractors for each build and work on the detailed pricing using Buildxact to measure and price each individual build
*Contract administration – produce and execute contracts for each project
*Approvals – assist in seeking government and developer approvals for each project
This role requires work on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 11am to 4pm, with the remaining of a 40 hour week offering flexibility to the right applicant and even part time hours considered.
Salary of $65,000-$75,000 per year plus a structure to be negotiated to include bonuses for sales taken from initial enquiry through to contract signing.
