When we say DJ Homes delivers the best value, we are not saying we are the cheapest builder in Canberra.
We are saying that when you look at the full picture — the quality of the home, the inclusions, the level of service, the work completed before contract, the reliability of the build, and the support provided after handover — we believe our clients receive exceptional value for money.
In building, the cheapest price at the start is not always the best price by the end.
A home may look more affordable on paper, but if key items are excluded, site costs are not properly assessed, or selections and finishes are not fully priced before contract, clients can quickly find themselves facing additional costs they did not expect.
At DJ Homes, we take a different approach.
Before construction begins, we put significant time into understanding the site, the design, the selections, the engineering requirements, and the details that matter to each client. This thorough preliminary process allows us to provide a more complete and accurate price before contract signing, reducing the risk of unexpected variations during the build.
Our inclusions are also a major part of the value we provide. Items such as concrete driveways, ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning, 7-star energy compliance, window coverings, floor coverings, joinery design, floor to ceiling wet area tiling, and other essential finishes are considered as part of the complete home, not treated as afterthoughts.
We also take the time to properly cost site works, retaining walls where required, customised inclusions, joinery details, and finishes before our clients commit to building with us.
That matters because comparing builders is rarely as simple as comparing two prices. One quote may appear cheaper, but when the inclusions, allowances, site costs, energy requirements, and final finish are properly considered, the comparison can look very different.
For us, value means giving clients confidence.
Confidence that their home has been properly considered before construction starts.
Confidence that the price reflects what they actually want to build.
Confidence that the quality, inclusions, service, and delivery match the investment they are making.
We build custom-designed new homes and knockdown rebuilds for clients who want more than a standard project home, but who also want their budget respected and their expectations clearly understood.
